Hi ESPcomposites

can u please elaborate on the the "soft spring concept" u have discussed in the quoted thread ...

I tried this method of soft spring.. but have problems with low strain results...

Also have u tried implementing this concept to study the shear trains in a sandwich plate under simple shear ....

It would be helpful if any forum members have simulated this problem in Nastran ... ur tips are more welcome
