Hello.

I import models from diffrent cads system but generaly that models consist plenty of screw, washers, nuts, small shafts, …. and so on. I dont need this small components and I would like delete it after import model. Can I select all componets that mass is lower than 1 kg or volume is lower than 100mm3 (for example)?

Best Regard

What version fo NX are you on? Do you have an "advanced assemblies" license?

Hello Jerry
I dont know what type of license I have because I am not administrator but as I remenber there is "advanced assemblies" toolbar. Do you know how to select small parts in big assemblies? :)

You can set up something called 'Component Groups' which can automatically include a Component based on some criteria, including size, weight, volume, area, attribute value, etc. And once these 'Groups' have been defined they can be used for things like selection. Such as when hiding components based on being a member of a Group, close, suppress, delete, move to a layer, etc.
