I'm just getting into civil design and have come across the fun of doing civil work in Solidworks. One thing I'm needing help/tips on is rebar placements. For instance I've got a placement that has 36 unique bars spaced at 8" accordingly. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way that I could specify a pattern based on different components? Each bar needs to be a unique part because when it comes to lapping (joining the bars) two sections I'll have to add different angles to the ends of each bar. The picture below shows a lot of busy work I've done to achieve what I need. It's just that I'd rather have more free time for roaming around in here...

Consider creating part configurations and using a Design Table in the assembly to control which config goes where.

CBL: thanks for the tip. That worked great!
