Component name in Assy tree

All,
This has always been working for me in the past, but for some reason it does not work now. When I have a part in an assy, and open it from the assy, then resave off that part as a new filename, the file name does not appear in the assy feature tree even after rebuild. Would anyone have an clue how I can fix this??

Go to Tools->Options, System Options tab, External References category. Make sure the box is checked for "Update component names when documents are replaced". This should fix it, although I have found that it doesn't always catch the change.
