complex numbers

Is there a way to format complex numbers in Excel? I just ran a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and the result is a column of complex numbers. Excel shows the real and imaginary parts out to about 13 places so I need a wide column to see it.

something like this worked:
=COMPLEX(ROUND(PI(),4),ROUND(PI(),4))

which means that you'll need something like

=complex(round(imreal(YOURVALUE),4),round(imaginary(YOURVALUE),4))

so, decompose to real and imaginary, apply the round function and recompose into imaginary.

It looks like another one of those gaping holes in exel.

Along the lines of what was suggested above.... perhaps you store your complex numbers in column B with a very narrow width (don't even look at C for values), then use imreal() to display real part in column C and imaginary() to display imaginary part in column D... then use normal formatting on columns C and D
