Compiling MDL programs for MicroStation V8

I am trying to compile an MDL program from an older version (MicroStation95) to MicroStation V8 but it failed until now.

So my question would be: how should the MAKE FILE *.mke look like?

I?ve tried to copy the structure from the example given by Bentley (basic.mke) for my own computer but it stops with the message ?Generate command table include & resource file using rcomp?

I would be grateful to help me with some hints on compiling MDL programs to MicroStation V8.
