Compatibility between versions of nx

Hi

Is it possible to work on .prt files created in nx 7.5 from with nx 6.0?

Must be an add on or something?

There is NO downward compatiblity, period.

The best that you can do is to export the Solid/Surface model(s) via Parasolid and then open this file in the older version of NX.

To do this, go to...

File -> Export -> Parasolid...

...and select the appropriate version from the list of available ones. Once the Parasolid file has been created, launch the older version of NX and go to...

File -> Open...

...and change the 'Files of type:' to the appropriate PS format and open the file and you'll have at least the Solid/Surface model intact (but with no history).
