Topic says it all, is there a method within Creo to compare 2 models to identify changes/differences?

Try Tools > Compare Part > By Geometry

put both parts together in an assembly and take a look. one can also do an interference check between the two

If in the assembly you make the parts different colors you can see both colors when the surfaces are identical. To be sure, use compare part by geometry. If you use the interference check the amount of interference should equal the volume of one part.
