Common minimum flow recycle for spared pump

Dear All,

I would like to confirm the de-merits of having having one common minimum flow recycle across a 2x100% pump (1 working +1 standby) instead of a dedicated minimum flow recycle loop across each pump. I have seen some designs adapting common recycle line for the 2 x 100% pumps..
