I have been having some difficulty applying moving loads to a model (using graphic interface) and then combining the enveloped results with other primary load cases. I've always been able to manually write the moving load command lines in the input file, but I just can't seem to wrap my mouse around the GUI way of doing things.

I've created the vehicle definitions, set up the load cases, but can't seem to find where to link the vehicle definitions to the load cases, so they can be used in a load combination.

Could someone offer a hand with the GUI method?

Try this...
In the Load and Definition tab click on Load Cases Details and hit the "Add" button. When the window opens click on "Load Generation". You should be able to add your pre-defined load to a load case from there.

That worked, thanks. Would you also know how to create a load combination with the max case moving load case for each discrete member with the other load cases, such as DL SelfWt, etc?? I'd like to use the steel design module, but would need to create this combination in order to do so.
