Column scale up analysis

I developed a pilot scale set up to conduct ion exchange test to recover metal from moderately viscous solutions (100cP). Now I am working to scale up the columns using dimension analysis. I have come across and read quite a few articles on scale up of Ion exchange columns. I am asking members here to assist me understand how the author has got the matrix table in table 4.110.

I used the dimension matrix (fig 4.107) and determined matrix ranking of 3. I got lost on how the author achieved the total matrix. Its been a lot of years since I last used matrices for process optimization using Newton Raphson method. Appreciate your help. I attached the document in this post.
