Collector Rings 5

My boss wants me to find the equipment and learn how to true the collector rings on our generators. They are about 3 to 4 feet around. Does anyone have any ideas on where to get the equipment and instruction? Two things I was thinking about was what is the grit of the rock used for cutting and how do I get the best even cut all the way around the ring? Thanks for any help.

You need to grind the rings to keep them round. This is what we use.
