Cold Formed Joists

Designing a job with cold formed joist. Contractor is not sure who will be supplying.

Would the best thing to do is provide reactions for the connections, and let the supplier/manufacture provide connections, as such not to make it more expensive with a custom connection?

Either delegate the entire design or do you own design with
SSMA joist designations and proprietary connectors from either Simpson or The Steel Network.
