Respected ABAQUS users, I have tried to model cohesive zone model of two plates using some glue in ABAQUS but I am getting a high distortion node problem along with contact overclosure along with convergence issue may be due to incorrect modeling but on the youtube tuturiols I followed each and every step completely. also the error of getting the wrong results as an output as the output force is very less during the debonding process.I have made many model to solve the problem from the last month but getting failed. For this problem I have got input files from the abaqus documentation regarding debonding of double cantilever beam which is working well but it is very difficult to understand it for making a new cae file for my model. Kindly help me doing it. And if possible give me the cae file to make my own file after looking at it.
Thanks for cooperation

What's the problem with the DCB example from the documentation ? You can import the input file to Abaqus/CAE to see all the definitions and just recreate the geometry (which is very simple in this case) and apply the same settings. It also depends on the chosen modeling technique. Cohesive elements are the most difficult to set up while cohesive contact behavior is easy.
