Can anyone explain the meaning of "coefficient of rebound"? Steinberg, in "Vibration Analysis for Electronic Equipment" mentions it in the following equation:
V=C*(2gH)^.5
where
V=velocity change
C=coefficient of rebound (1.0-2.0)
g=acceleration of gravity
H= drop height
