What is the code difference in ASTM A 105 & ASME SA 105???

One is published by ASTM International, one is published by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Typically the ASME document is a slight revision of the ASTM document, for example to allow inclusion into the ASM Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

If you look on the ASME it will tell you which edition of ASTM it was derived from and if there are any changes.

In general ASTM are used as the basis for procurement, and ASME Code is used to get material that will then comply with the required design rules.

If you write one of these on an order you should own a copy. They are part of the contract and both parties have specific obligations.

ASTM generally produces standards that can become codified when referenced by a code. ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is just that...a code. The latter is mandatory...the former is generally non-mandatory.
