I have been out of this field for 30 years now, however, I was wondering what is the latest practice used with transmitting TV antennae. Are the rigid coaxial copper conductors still used to carry the signals to the parasitic elements positioned on the antennae or have waveguides replaced the "Coax". Back then we were to explore the use of waveguides but then the company went kaput due to a tough economy.

Maybe try your question in the 'Antenna & Propagation engineering' forum.
