I've been working at assessing this particular Radar for a good couple of weeks, an entire spreadsheet full of calculations accompanied by 13 pages on word analysing the system but I'm still not sure if I'm just quite getting it....

I've worked the Gain out to be 38.27 dB but past this when trying to do SNR or Rmax it all goes to rat shit for me. See attached on workings so far.....really looking for some advice here and not just give me the answers but anything in red text should be ignored....

I'm a bit disappointed that for a 2-wk effort, you don't seem to have gotten particularly far, and you have at least one error that was pretty obvious, namely, the bandwidth B22. Your column of "Formulas Used" entries apparently have nothing to do with the the quantities in column B, which would have been useful. Some indication of calculated quantities vs. numbers grabbed from datasheets or from the air would make it easier to follow along. Your calculation of blind range is obviously wrong, since the bandwidth you used is incorrect. Moreover, the blind range typically has nothing to do with the bandwidth, per se, since it's typically a function of the saturation/recovery time of the receiver front end. Polarization is often used to separate the transmit vs. return pulses to minimize the blind range.
