CO2 dosing for acidification

Could CO2-in line injection replace acid dosing (for example H2SO4) in the RO feedline ? Especially in waters with high alkalinity ?

Yes, you can use CO2 to lower the feedwater pH but most applcations use a strong acid such as sulfuric.
