Hey guys,

I'm looking for a method that will help to agitate a cold liquid and while simulaneously introducing CO2 into the liquid. The bottom of the container that will have the liquid in it will be sealed and the only access into the container will be through the neck of the bottle on the top.

Do you guys have any ideas about how I can do that? Would the CO2 need to be in the container before the liquid is introduced or would it need to be vice versa?

Thanks in advance!

Take a straw and blow.

Seriously, your breath contains CO2 and the bubbles would agitate the liquid, thus satisfying all your requirements.

LOL I know, but this is for something I want to have running on it's own...

That would agitate the liquid, but what if I want to get an equal amount of carbonation out of my liquid as say a 12 oz bottle of Coke?

Just bubbling the Co2 through the liquid, leaving a reasonable headspace above it so that a fair amount of gas passes through before you reach target pressure might be all you need - that's pretty much how the old sparklets siphons and sodastreams worked.

If this container is gas tight and the liquid is no significantly soluble for amount of CO2 then it going to take a considerable pressure to force the gas in and considerable strength of container. If no gas tight then no problem.
