CMU wall axial capacity

Hi,

I have a 80'-0" tall unbraced non-load bearing CMU wall. Not able to get this to work from axial capacity perspective under just the self-weight.

Its 12" CMU wall, fm' = 2500psi, with #6@32" vertical rebars. I have 8" deep bond beams at every 4'-0" spacing. With the bond beams at 4'-0", can I assume the wall to be braced by bond beams for out of plane buckling or do we check the wall for full 80' unbraced length?

Unless the bond beams are braced against something, then they ain't doin anything for you.
Yea, I can't imagine getting this to work without some sort of periodic bracing.
Doesn't this exceed ACI530 slenderness requirements by a long shot?
 
80’ tall, 12 inch wide wall? With no other supports? Yes you will need to use full height for buckling. Can’t imagine it working for a bunch of load conditions.
 
Yeah though so. I will have to brace it back at the mezzanine level at 40’-0”. Then I can get it to work
 
Does anyone have an example of CMU shaft wall design? Like an elevator shaft
