Hi experts,
Is there any clearance specified in B31.8 (Gas Transmission and Distribution Piping Systems)for two buried pipelines? I can find the clearance between buried pipeline and underground structure (image attached) but unable to find clearance between two buried pipelines.
Thanks in advance

pmover, thanks.It really helped

Another pipeline can be regarded as a structure in this instance.

Most of the time you are limited by the other pipeline owner and his legal rights.

300mm is the smallest usually and 500mm very common.

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

I have 2003 Edition. The clearance requirements for plastic piping,

and Para. 841.143 is for steel piping and excerpt at your post.

So , incase of pipeline , min. clearance 150 mm and for gas main 50 mm.

You may look to the definitions of gas pipeline and ( distribution)gas main.
