HI,

I have a product that use class one bluetooth. It is a device that connects to a bluetooth headphone for voice communication. I want to know if this product sells in USA. Does it need to apply FCC certification? Thanks

If your bluetooth headphone is for sale by itself then it needs the FCC certification.

If they are selling it to you as a component for use in your system, then the final system needs the FCC certification.

John D,

Thank you for your reply.

My class one headphone will be selling with system.

Also want to know if this the same for class2 that it needs to apply for FCC certification too. thanks again

You'll need to define your Class 1 and Class 2. That can refer to a lot of different standards, none that seem applicable to this if your market is the USA.
