Hello everyone,

My question is in regards to clamps and how to make sure that it is properly designed for your equipment. For example, a clamp on a heat exchange how can you back through any calculations how much void is acceptable for the sealant. I would appreciate any help in the matter.

Contro-Trace normally allow 1/8" max gap for mastic. Anything more then the tracer needs adjustment prior to application.
