Hi,

I'd like to create a connection design between Revolve (0) and Extrude (3), using their faces (in yellow) or their edges.
I got the Through Curve Mesh (23) just to show how I’d like the shape of the connection to look like.
How would create this?

Thanks,

I have recorded a movie to show, how I have done this, but it gets to large. Don't know what is the size limit here, but the zipped movie is over 20mb and I cannot upload it. So here are the steps, that I have done:
1. move face: i have moved the face of the left flat body to the start of your bridge curve(20)
2. I have created bridge curves on the other side of the body, too.
3. I have creted 4 'through curve mesh' sheet bodies.
4. I have used 'extract geometry' command with Geometry Type set to Face. I have selected the faces, that you have painted yellow.
5. now, i have sewed all 6 faces into one solid body.
6. with unite command, I have combined all three solid bodies into one.

If I manage to create smaller movie, I will upload it.

Can you attach the NX file?

[bigsmile] I don't have!...................
Can you send as a parasolid, please?

Based on the shape of the parasolid I could "guess" how you've done it....

See what this does for you. Feel free to remodel using the sketches you had in there.

You had the right idea, you just needed to add more wireframe (Brige Curves) and build some for support of the "blend" surface, which can be made by creating lines tangent to the blend edges of the Revolved surface and then projecting them down on the the Extruded platform.

Static wireframe display shows the surfaces are all tangent (changed Smooth Edges to Phantom) or close enough, given your Modeling tolerances.
