i have a profile created from a surface in civil 3D. i want to label/add marker along the profile line all points having elevation 1, then all points having elevation 2. is there a way to add markers by elevation in civil 3D?
this is a follow up to my previous thread about sampling from hatch (late light bulb effect); i was thinking along the line that i could re-create boundaries for all the hatches, and then assign elevation to them (0 for blue, 1 for green and so on). that way, when i build the surface and create the profile, i can tell which color ends where. please add any other valuable insights if you have. regards.
