I have an assembly in NX8.5 that opens just fine.
I have created a drawing file, and added the assembly component for drafting.
I created some drawings with out problems.
I realized I forgot some engraving on a part.
I closed it all down, opened the part and added the engraving.
I opened the assembly to make sure the links updated correctly, no problem.
I open the drawing file to the 3D model, no problem.
Open Sheet 1, the assembly view, no problem.
When I try to open the sheet for the part with the added engraving, ERROR
A box comes up: "Error recovery completed for the following error: There is an object which depends on itself. OK
Click OK and the Information window shows: The following circular update was detected: (this is on there twice) but no information is listed.
I have never seen this on a drawing before.
Like I said previously, the assembly model opens fine in the assembly file AND the drawing file.
It is only when I go to this certain sheet in the drawing file.
Any ideas?
Thank you.

Have you started a new session and tried to reload the Drawing?

Sounds like something that GTAC could help you with the easiest.
