Circular pattern w/ Join partition feature

I've tried to create a circular pattern,where the feature is a join with partition (it's a rib that overlap the revolved shell case), but I haven't get it . How Can I do it?

At what point does the operation fail?

I got it after merge the parts, but the unwanted regions of ribs went back and I haven't erased it. It's only part like original.
