Dear all,

I have choke valves suffering from severe erosion due to sand from well.. i know there are methods such as sacrificial probes to be placed intrusively at the upstream of valve or some clamped-on UT gauge at both upstream and downstream of the valves to estimate the erosion condition of the choke valves, but is there any practical inspection method that i can directly inspect the remaining wall thickness of valve (besides X-ray) without dismantling it?

The valve is standard alloy steel with internal lining of tungsten carbide.

Need help please..

I think digital rx will of interest to you
