Hei,

For well flowlines,if choke collapses there will be an overpressure downstream the choke.I would like to know how many choke failure we have to consider at a time (may be one/two) and which standard refers regarding choke collapse requirement.

only one. But, you need a back up for that one. We usually install a choke and a monitor (a second choke) if the well can supply more pressure than the downstream can with stand.

the monitor doesn't have to be a choke (a globe valve) it can be a fail close valve like a gate or ball valve with it's own control loop.
