Denpending upon your reason for chlorinating your water the recommended contact time is 20 - 30 minutes. Whatever the flow rate is in gpm the tank size should be the flow rate times 20 or 30. BR number does not tell us flow rate. In addition, we would need to know the cause that calls for chlorination.
