This concerns an aqua layer sitting above a layer of light tight oil which has a high concentration of chlorides. Has any had experience of chlorides becoming a risk during fracking by making their way into the process stream? It seems likely that the aqua layer could be a problem either at the vertical section well casing or by contaminating the frack fluid. Any papers / experience would be helpful - I'm not a geologist, drilling or process engineer.

There are always chlorides in produced fluids on this planet.
