Chip Formation issue in Explicit/ Dynamcs in ABAQUS

I am doing a VMC cutter simulation in ABAQUS of the explicit/dynamics type. The deformation model being followed is Johnson-Cook. The work-piece material is Al-6065 and the cutter is assumed to be a rigid shell. The deformation is taking place but the chips are not being formed and yes, element deletion is enabled for the work-piece.

Hi,
Are the elements distorting like if they are without stiffness?
Check the picture im attaching (post processing). Maybe that can fix it. Remove elements with "broken" status.
