I'm looking to purchase a flowmeter that will be put into waste water service. The meter that looks the best (performance vs. price) has a polyurethane lining but I'm not sure if it will be compatible with my fluid. The liquid stream contains MCB typically at less than 10,000 ppm. I know polyurethane has poor resistance to aromatics but does that apply for low concentrations? I am a new engineer and don't yet have a feel for this type of thing. Are there any good references for finding chemical resistance information? Any input would be appreciated.

Hi Bearcat,

Get hold of OMEGA,handbooks on flow meters..they have good resistance tables for many materials..
