We currently use a Trimite paint AE251 (2 pack polyurethane eggshell medium spatter)
on our products. Some of our customers in lab environments use Acetone to clean the surface of our product after use and so far this has not proved a major issue i.e. a small number of products are affected.
On our new product we are looking at using AE257 (2 pack polyurethane self texturing paint) but this seems to be much worse for some reason in it's resistance to Acetone.
Does anyone know why this might be?
We have been told that an Epoxy based paint would be be optimum but have concerns about the texture options available, all comments welcome.
We are based in the UK so Trimite is the suppliers preffered range of paints. But SW equivalents can be sourced.
