Chemical Epoxy Fastening in Timber

I am an Australian forum user and I was after some info on the existence of a timber epoxy used to fasten threaded rods into timber beams. Does it exist? Are there technical resources available with design pullout values etc? I know tasbeam used to publish design data years ago using a hilti and ramset product. They don't do that anymore. I used these products in 2003 and I haven't seen anything used since. Maybe there is a reason for that????? Does anyone know of any?

Check Simpson Strong-Tie CPS & PBV post bases. They epoxy into bottom end of timber columns with SET epoxy. They have allowable loads loads listed - note these are into the end grain.

I would be a bit hestitant to depend on epoxy in wood connections in applications where the wood may be subject to changes in moisture content. Inside applications would be preferable.

This Kiwi outfit shows some details of glued in dowel joints. They say that this type joint must be made in the factory, as there are not adequate controls for glued joints on site. No specific adhesive is mentioned, but maybe a phone call would get you some information.
