Could anyone tell about the calculations used in chemical cleaning of heat exchangers?

Whick part? Heat generation? time to dissolve scale? amount of chemicals required?
Call an expert, there are service companies that do this work.
It isn't for amateurs.

The manufacturer should be able to provide a recommended cleaning flow rate for the exchanger, while a company that supplies cleaning chemicals should be able to suggest the chemicals to use (depending on the type of fouling, and gasket/exchanger material).

Consider the fluidized bed heat exchanger which is a self cleaning heat exchanger. See If you are down once per month for cleaning this may be a possible answer to your problem.
