Checking models in from Explorer

I know it should be possible to checkin files using SW explorer. Click a file on the left pane and one of the popup buttons can check it into the vault.
What if I dont have the file open (in swx). Or in a situation that I dont have SWx on that computer.

How do I checkin a file into the vault using just SWx-Explorer

BT,

The short answer is, "you can't". According to the SW training material, if you have BOTH SW and SW Explorer loaded on a system then you have the ability to check out SW files. We do not have the ability, however, to check in SW files from SW Explorer.

Now that there is checkin Button in explorer.

Does it mean, this checkin option will work if I dont have SWx on the same system?

If you try to check in from SW Ex, you will get a message that SW is needed.
