Greetings all!

Let's imagine that in NX6 we need to change the size of the sheet after drawing has been worked on extensively. In other words, views and annotatins already exist, and we need to make sheet larger, which means need to put a larger drawing frame on it. I can think of deleting old drawing fame, editing the size of the sheet, and importing a new frame corresponding to the new size. Obviously cumbersome! Is there any better way?

How did you create a drawing? With File-New-Drawing option and you have selected a template from FileNew? Or did you open the empty drawing and then imported the appropraite frame? OR maybe do you use Format->Pattern option?
If you used the first option, my procedure was like this:
1. Insert another sheet in the drawing
2. copy/paste everything from the first sheet to this new one
3. delete the first sheet

With other options, you just have to delete the old frame and import new one.

Hope this helps.
Regards.

1. First option: In Part Navigator click on Drawing → Sheet → MB3 Edit Sheet → Standard Size (pick-up the size you want)
2. Second Option: Make all layers selectable → Select all drawing elements (Border Text, curves) → Edit → Transform → Scale. Edit the size of sheet accordelly

You could create a drawing seed file that has all of you drawing frames in it on different layers and turn the layer with the border size that you need on.

Hello, SvenBom!

1. Insert another sheet in the drawing
2. copy/paste everything from the first sheet to this new one
3. Delete the first sheet

Thank you! I'll have to test it a little more, but it seems to be working!

Try this.
Edit->Sheet
Change the sheet size to standard or add custom size.

Thanks,
Mirage
