Changing "work directory" doesn't work

Hello there,

I am trying to change my work directory under Abaqus (FILE-->Set Work Dir. + Save Options local and home)
but at every new start, Abaqus re-set it automatically to its original value . I can see it just re-clicking in "FILE-->Set Work Directory". It simply doesn´t remain for the next Abaqus sessions!

Any idea how to solve this issue?

For Windows:
Right click on the shortcut to the program: ->Properties->
Modify the "Start in" path.
