Changing Part shape in Animation Mode

Is it possible to make a part change shape during a ProE animation? My current application is to make a spring compress as the parts around it move.

There doesn't seem to be the option to vary parameters and dimensions during an animation. All help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
