Changing outer bend radius

Hello

I have a sheet metal part in Sold Edge V17 for which i want to change the outer bend radius to 1.5mm.

I used the option for changing the bend radius but it changes the inside radius instead of the outside.

Can someone tell me how to change the outside bend radius?

Hi,

In Solid Edge, you control the inside bend radius. If you change it, the outside radius will change also because it's equal to (inside) bend radius + thickness.

NB: You can create a variable called outside_br in the variable table, enter the value you want and then give the (inside) bend radius the following formula :
bend radius=outside_br-thickness
