Changing Data Values

Hello. The issue I am experiencing is that when I a one hour duration on a line (project) but the task displays a start/finish interval of 8 hours. No matter what duration I place in for my project for example, 2 hours - the task always displays a 8 hour gap. Can anyone help? Thanks

The attached is a MPP file of the issue I am experiencing. For instance, if you change duration line time to 2hr there will be an 8hr start/finish interval instead it stating 2hr. Thanks for your help.

I don't see that happening anywhere.

I change "car" from 20.95 h to 2h, and the start changes from Fri 3:15pm to Mon 6:12 pm, two hours before the same finish time of Mon 8:12 pm
