changed p2 to p1 by mistake how do i get back 2

I was setting options and some how change to p1 form p2 how do i get back?

If I enter catia the normal way i get a screen with a checkerboard going into the horison with a product1 file and applications in tree that all there is a small text box in the lower right hand corner is there a prompt? The option you sudjested is right but the only way i can get to that option is to open the start/programs/catia/tool/setting management and that box dose not have the normal p1,p2, & p3 boxes to check anymore sudjestions?

Does your environment allow you to use cptions to access Tools, Options ?
Have you tried deleting your CATSettings?

Do you know that file extension name to delete in the cat settings? thanks I'll try to see if it works

You should be able to delete the folder that contains these CATSettings files. If you don't want to delete the folder or the files in it, just rename the folder. CATIA will create a new folder.

Am I correct to assume the command cptions did not launch the Options window??

Do you mean cption is giving you the error message "Unknown Command" ?

Did you find your CATSettings?

no the prompt comand line was the only avalible option on the screen unistalling catia and reinstall still brought me back to it even when the main DS directory was removed ended up having to formate the drive it was on and do a complete reinstall raid files drive held the same had to fit that too. but I'm up and running again thank you all for your sudjustions and help................
