Change Oil of Compressor Units 1

Good day!

We are planning to change oil our compressors for chiller and air conditioning units.

Assuming that it would be our first time to do it, but what should be our basis for us to now that this is the right time to change the oil.

What are the factors the we must consider? could it be the total number of hours that the compressor is running?
or it should be twice a year? or once a year?

Which is the theoretically correct??

I really need some suggestions....

Lubricant analysis is an exceptional tool because It can peer inside a compressor and spotlight a developing problem..Like changes in the operation of a compressor are reflected in the properties and makeup of its lubricating oil. Scheduled analysis of lubricants identifies problems before they cost your customer money. A second test that can be performed is refrigerant testing.
Did you know that you lose 2 percent of a unit’s efficiency when the refrigerant contains 1 percent oil or more? Therefore, the cleaner the refrigerant, the more efficient the unit will operate. High moisture content can contribute to acid production and ultimately a system failure. Acid harms the internal components of the system and breaks down the chemical makeup of the refrigerant and lubricant.”
