I have noise in a ceiling diffuser JS of Airguide. The original disegn specified AVP-S. The air quantity is 675 CFM. The contractor installed ceiling diffuser type JS and we have a little noise. I verified in the catalog cut and i didnt find the noise level for JS ceiling diffuser. I found the noise level for AVP. Could somebody explain if the JS generated more noise that the AVP.

is there a volume damper in the neck?
if so move it to the takeoff and use max 5' flex duct installed non-kinked ..... i spec buckley atmd w/ extended neck option
what application is the location ..... hard room surfaces? ..... office environment?
