CE Certificate for MV Switchgears

Does anybody know about requirements and/or any resources for required test to get a CE certificate for Medium Voltage switchgears?

As far as I know CE is not applicable to MV switchgear as none of the EU directives which are required for CE marking apply to MV switchgear.
