Hello!

I would like to ask those who have done triaxial tests on how to interpret data from the automatic volume change apparatus as it provides data in "mm". I don't know if the data logger lacked a certain module which transforms the reading from the LVDT used in the automatic volume change apparatus or there are some calculations that needs to be done to actually get the actual change in volume?

is this test per ASTM D7181? if so, do you have the standard? presumably it defines the measurements.

Hi! Thank you for your response. Yes, I already checked the standard and there is nothing mentioned about volume change measurements being in "mm" or based on the LVDT reading.
