Hi,
I need to replace the left bracket 1, with the right side one (2).

How could I do it? I tried to use GSD "Translate" and "Axis to axis":

…………but unless I hide it, the second bracket appears on the screen and in the tree.

How would you do it?

Thanks

Unless I don't understand fully, could you hide the 1st bracket and then re-position the added parts to #2 (DOF Constraints)? If it's hidden, it shouldn't be apart of the model (for FEA purposes)
If that isn't it, you could just re-import also? But if you need 1 later then I wouldn't suggest this - it would be a waste of time.

Kayla_engineer,

Thanks for your answer.
I think I found the answer: moving geometry in the right place and then isolating them.
