Catia V5 programming

How do you program in Catia V5? I'm trying to create a surface from a given set of control points. I've found the functions "addNewSpline" and "AddControl Point" but I don't know how to use them. I can't find any examples. I'm assuming I need to make a marco with VB. I need help!

In the online help doc, serch : PointSplineLoftFromExcel

find the macro, and read it... you will learn lot of thing.. Have fun,

I can't find PointSplineLoftFromExcel with the search engine in the online help. What is the file name that is used? Could you send me the script if it is small?
